EVERYDAY

Some call these office barongs, work barongs, or gusot mayaman ("wrinkled clothing of the rich" in Tagalog). We call them everyday barongs because the Barong Tagalog historically began as a top worn everyday. These were garments that people did everything in.

Our everyday barongs are made of ramie fabric, which is very similar to linen, and these are durable enough for day-to-day use.

These are not formal barongs, and they are not appropriate for formal occasions like weddings or banquets. These are not a substitute for the traditional formal custom barongs we offer on this site.

Everyday barongs are appropriate for office or work settings that allow them, hanging out, and any other casual use.
