How This Works
There are two things you must do to get your custom barong.
1) PLACE YOUR ORDER - Buy the barongs with the options you want in our online store. For group orders, please click here for our Group Sales section. For special custom barongs or barong customizations not on this website, please visit our Special Sales section.
2) GET MEASURED - After you've placed your order, we will email you about having your measurements taken. One way is through our Contactless Custom Barong Service where we will guide and instruct you on how to take all measurements needed. Another method is through in-person measuring by a representative of Pineapple Industries where available. You may contact us at info@pineappleind.com for more details.
After these two steps are completed, which do not necessarily need to be done in this order, please allow about two months for barong production and delivery. International service times to places outside North America may vary.
Quality custom made clothing is a process, and it takes time. It is always best to order when you do not have a deadline, so order your barong now. If you need your barong by a particular date, please order three months in advance of when you need your barong. Pineapple Industries makes NO guarantees on times for order processing, production and shipping. So please order as far in advance as possible. Please order even earlier for multiple barongs, special sales/custom orders group orders or orders shipped outside North America.
FREE BARONG ALTERATION PROGRAMShould you have issues with how your Pineapple Industries made-to-measure or custom barong fits, please email detailed descriptions of your fit issues to info@pineappleind.com as soon as possible within 10 days after receiving your barong. We will subsequently request pictures and instruct you on how to take them.
After you have consulted with us, and Pineapple Industries has approved, barong alterations to remedy your fit issues are available free of charge subject to conditions below. The alterations will be done by the people that made your barong in the Philippines.
*To participate in our free barong alteration program, you must ship your barong back to us at your expense. You must also follow our instructions for shipping barongs to us. Please allow two to four months to complete this alteration process.
Pineapple Industries will NOT pay for or reimburse you for alterations you have done outside of our Free Barong Alteration Program.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS
International shipping outside the US is available. Duties or Taxes may be due and collected from customer by customs authorities in order to receive your shipment(s). Please check with your country's customs office for applicable duties or taxes prior to purchase. Please order as far in advance as possible for orders with deadlines.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
To cancel your order, you must contact us at info@pineappleind.com within 24 hours of placing the order. You must email us from the email address you entered in your order and provide your full name, order number, phone number, and the reason for cancellation.
All orders cancelled by the customer will be charged a 4% cancellation fee to cover order processing costs and expenses. No exceptions. Your order payment method will be credited your total charged minus the 4% cancellation fee.
MEASURED IN ADVANCE
Pineapple Industries representatives have previously traveled to customers to take measurements and to do custom barong consultations. All customer measurements taken in advance are kept on file and may be used for any future orders going forward. Please email us at info@pineappleind.com or use the contact form below after you place your order to inform us that your measurements were already taken by us.
DELIVERIES TO NEW YORK STATE ADDRESSES
All orders delivered to addresses in the State of New York will be charged the appropriate state and local sales tax.
NO RETURNS, EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS ON CUSTOM BARONGS
There are absolutely NO returns, exchanges or full or partial refunds on made-to-measure or custom barongs.
EVERYDAY BARONGS AND THEIR RETURN, EXCHANGE AND REFUND POLICY
Our everyday barong series is our ready-to-wear barong line that comes in sizes. No need for custom measuring. Just choose from six available sizes: extra small, small, medium, large, extra large and xxl. Quantities are limited. Be sure to choose your size carefully according to our size guide with measurements on each product page.
Returns of everyday barongs are only allowed for store credit when you email us (at info@pineappleind.com; Subject: Return) within five (5) days of delivery of your barong describing your reason for return along with your name and order number. We will then provide return shipping instructions via email within 24 hours of receipt of your email. Barong must be sent back to us through a major delivery carrier (US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, DHL) within five (5) days of delivery of our return shipping instructions email. Shipping speed is customer's choice. After successful return, store credit will be issued only for purchase price plus any taxes paid. No store credit will be issued for shipping costs and fees.
Exchanges are only allowed when you email us (at info@pineappleind.com; Subject: Exchange) within five (5) days of delivery of your barong describing your reason for exchange along with your name, order number and desired size in exchange. Customer must pay for shipping of replacement barong. If your desired size is not available, this becomes a return, and the paragraph above applies. We will then provide return shipping instructions and instructions for paying replacement barong shipping cost via email within 24 hours of receipt of your email. Barong must be sent back to us through a major delivery carrier (US Postal Service, FedEx, UPS, DHL) within five (5) days of delivery of our return shipping instructions email. Shipping speed is customer's choice.
Customer must pay the full cost to ship back the barong to Pineapple Industries. Should the barong become lost or damaged on the return shipment, then the return will not be credited, or the exchange will be null and void, and the customer bears the loss. So we strongly suggest insuring your shipment for the full purchase price, and Pineapple Industries will cooperate in the insurance claim process should the barong become lost or damaged on a return shipment.
Returned or exchanged barongs must not be used at all except for trying on after delivery. If there are signs of use, in Pineapple Industries' sole judgment, the return or exchange may become null and void.
There are no refunds of everyday barongs.
Everday barongs are not eligible for free alterations.
