ABOUT THE MODEL

Mark Calaguas, 36, is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He currently lives in Chicago, Illinois where he works as an attorney at a global law firm.

Mark stays very busy outside of work. He is a founding board member of the National Filipino American Lawyers Association (NFALA) and the Filipino American Lawyers Association of Chicago (FALA Chicago). He currently serves as NFALA's Vice President for Communications. Mark is also a board member of Alliance of Filipinos for Immigrant Rights and Empowerment (AFIRE) and Community Relations Manager for Kultura, a contemporary Filipino American food and arts festival established in Chicago by the culinary media and events company, Filipino Kitchen.

Mark is a Young Professionals Program Ambassador for the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and an alumnus of the Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPRO).

Fun facts: He is an avid runner, omnivore, and champion of the Midwest's greatest contributions to the world - Detroit techno and Chicago house.
