ABOUT THE MODEL

Dale Talde is a Filipino-American chef, restaurateur, consultant, and television personality that was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He is the proud son of Filipino immigrants, and his passion for cooking began at a young age as he learned to prepare meals alongside his mother in their home kitchen. After completing his culinary education and having extensive experience working in the restaurant industry, Dale became best known for competing on Bravo’s Emmy Award-winning chef competition show Top Chef. He was featured in Top Chef: Chicago (2008), Top Chef: All-Stars (2010-11), Top Chef Duels (2014), and he became one of the show’s most popular cast members. Dale later competed on the chef competition shows Chopped, Iron Chef America, and Knife Fight; and he also served as a judge on Knife Fight (head judge), Chopped, and Beat Bobby Flay. Dale is one of the judges on Top Chef Amateurs (2021).

Dale has opened and operated numerous restaurants, including Talde (three locations), Massoni, Rice & Gold, The Corner, Clare’s and Little Red Truck. He currently operates Goosefeather and Food Crush Hospitality, an event planning consulting group he runs with his life partner. Dale also released a cookbook, Asian-American, to rave reviews. Dale is a husband and a father.
